The third annual golf competition between France and Britain now called the Brexit cup was won on Thursday by  our British friends. There were 14 players on each team playing Matchplay Scramble. Many of the British have homes in the valley. The first two competitions were won by the French. But this year the British team were difficult to beat.  The match was followed by an excellent lunch in the tent  by the ninth hole, prepared by our golf friend and restauranteur Philipe Henry.

As captain of the British team, I am  delighted that we won the “Brexit cup” as reported above in the Dauphine Libere.

There is so much to do in Meribel in summer. The golf course is magnificent, as is the mountain biking, the climbing, the walking, the white water rafting, the canyoneering, and all the other activities.
