The sitting room features an open log fire and includes large Minotti sofas and other luxury furnishings.
Chalet Le Yeti has been enlarged and renovated to a very high standard for 2016/17 season. There is satellite television, a DVD player, Sonos hi-fi and board games plus toys for children.

Outside the sitting room there is a sun terrace with a large outdoor Jacuzzi, table, chairs and deck chairs.
The dining area is off the sitting room and features a large dining table. Good quality china and cutlery is all part of the service.
All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms (six rooms have spa-baths with a shower and two have walk in showers, washbasin and WC). One bedroom has a balcony and two others have French doors which open on to the garden.
The Yeti has eight bedrooms with vispring zip and link beds, and can be either twin or super-king. There are bedside tables and lamps by all beds. All bedrooms have good cupboard space.
Beds have pure down duvets and top quality bed linen; and the bathrooms have large bath sheets (not small bath towels) and hand towels. There is also plenty of hot water. Complimentary L’Occitane soaps are provided.
A cot and two extra beds are also available.
The garage incorporates a ski rack, a heated ski boot machine, and heated racks for clothing and gloves as well as a pool table.
There is a ninth toilet and basin off the sitting room.
The chalet staff sleep in their own self-contained attic apartment. The chalet staff have 1 day off each week.
In winter meals are prepared by a fully qualified chef to a high standard. We generally serve a continental breakfast with eggs and cereals and a three course dinner. We prepare high tea for youngsters. We try and serve food with a local flavour but most importantly we serve what guests want.
You choose the menus and of course all dietary requirements are catered for.
Dinner is generally 3 courses. Typical dishes would be:
Savoyarde Salad, Spinach Roulade, Vichysoisse soup, Cheese Souffle.
Fondue, Pierrade, Beef Stroganoff, Chicken in a tarragon sauce, Raclette.
Chocolate Mousse, Grand Marnier Soufflé, Apple Rum Meringue Pie.
We buy our wines directly from vineyards we have personally researched. This means our guests get high quality wines that would normally cost twice as much. Wine connoisseurs have complimented us on our selection.
Traveling To Meribel
Scheduled flights to Geneva are generally available from £120 return. Meribel is a two-hour drive from either Geneva or Lyon airports.Chamberry and Grenoble airports are also ideal. With four people sharing car hire, this costs about £70 per person a week for the transfer. We can also organise a minibus transfer for guests at a similar price in the winter.
Traveling By Road
Alternatively, you can easily drive from England. There is motorway from Calais straight through to Alberville, then dual carriageway to Moutiers. Thanks to the roads built for the Olympics, you can average 80 mph until the last 20 minutes to Meribel!
Calais to Meribel is about an eight-hour drive with no stops. We expect driving to take about 12 hours from London including the Channel crossing, compared to up to 8 hours for flying allowing for check-in and luggage collection.
With careful planning of scheduled flights, or by journeying by car, you can have 8 days skiing; 2 Sundays and the other 6 days. Guests can keep 2 rooms until 5pm on the Sunday they leave; guests arriving should have 2 rooms ready by 10 am on the Sunday they arrive, and the others in the evening.
Please Note: The external Jacuzzi needs a fully trained staff member to check water quality daily, we therefore do not run the outdoor Jacuzzi in Summer, but there are 6 indoor Jacuzzis in the chalet bathrooms.
Chalet Le Yeti is a luxury wood and stone chalet ideally situated in the popular Mussillon area of Meribel. It is a five minute walk from the centre of Meribel and a two minute walk from both the main Meribel nightclub and the supermarket.
The ski slopes are one minute’s drive away, or an eight minute walk. There is also a frequent free bus service.
The chalet is blissfully quiet, being just outside the very centre of Meribel. But of course bars and the bustle of Meribel are within easy reach!
