I love Meribel in April, it has  a real party atmosphere. There is such a perception that ski resorts finish in  mid-March, but this is not right for the Trois Vallees. You get some of the best snow of the season. Why? Firstly because our resorts are high altitude, and secondly because of the huge investment in snow cannons on the pistes.

Val Thorens stays open till mid-May. I’m happy to give a snow guarantee in Meribel until the end of the season in the third week in April. The Sun normally shines and the photos show you often have a choice between powder snow on the north facing slopes, and spring snow on the south facing slopes. You come across climbers topless, you enjoy the closing party at the Folie Douce, you see Easter bunnies expertly crafted in chocolate and last but not least the excesses of the season are clear  for all to see with the empty “vide” condom machine!

Too much fun is being had in Meribel.

Party at Folie Douce

The last party of the season is always fun.

Guided Skiing

With exceptional off-piste skiing in Meribel, it’s always great to have a local guide.
