The sitting room features an open log fire and includes large Minotti sofas and other luxury furnishings.

Chalet Le Yeti has been enlarged and renovated to a very high standard. There is satellite television, a DVD player, Sonos hi-fi and board games, plus toys for children.

Internet is available throughout the chalet and PCs can be connected to the broadband line for internet access by cable or wifi.

Outside the sitting room there is a sun terrace with a large outdoor Jacuzzi, table, chairs and deck chairs.

The dining area is off the sitting room and features a large dining table. Good quality china and cutlery is all part of the service.

All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms (six rooms have spa-baths with a shower and two have walk in showers, washbasin and WC). One bedroom has a balcony and two others have French doors which open on to the garden.

The Yeti has eight bedrooms with vispring zip and link beds, and can be either twin or super-king. There are bedside tables and lamps by all beds. All bedrooms have good cupboard space.

Beds have pure down duvets and top quality bed linen; and the bathrooms have large bath sheets (not small bath towels) and hand towels. There is also plenty of hot water. Complimentary shower gel/shampoo is provided.

A cot and two extra beds are also available.

The garage incorporates a ski rack, a heated ski boot machine, and heated racks for clothing and gloves as well as a pool table.
There is a ninth toilet and basin off the sitting room.
The chalet staff sleep in their own self-contained attic apartment. The chalet staff have 2 days off each week.

Food

A really important part of a great ski holiday is  quality food and drinks along with high levels of service. Our guests want to be sure that the staff looking after them really care about providing the best possible chalet experience.  The food served in Yeti reflects this and would probably be best described as delicious, imaginative and freshly produced. Of course any intolerances or dietary requirements will be catered for. These can be discussed prior to arrival with your Chalet Host.

To get your taste buds tingling, here is an insight as to what you can expect during a stay in Chalet Yeti;

• At breakfast, look out for yoghurt, an array of cereals and pastries, along with a range of egg dishes, jams and spreads.
• To start off your evening perfectly, sip on a glass of fizz around the fire in our cosy living room or with a game of pool.
• Starter – Butternut Squash chilli and coconut soup, bread, cumin seed butter
• Main Course – Roast rump of lamb, root vegetable assiette, spinach, pan jus
• Dessert – Lemon posset, citrus meringue, raspberry sorbet, toasted almonds

Wine

Our wines are all carefully selected and chosen to compliment the food we serve. Your Chalet Host will recommend wines at the start of each meal, however we understand wine is subjective and you will probably have a favourite!

Breakfast and afternoon tea are served each day and the chalet staff have two days off during the week; usually a Tuesday and Thursday.

Traveling To Meribel

Scheduled flights to Geneva are generally available from £140 return. Meribel is a two-hour drive from either Geneva or Lyon airports. Chambery and Grenoble airports are also ideal.  We can help organise a minibus transfer for guests in the winter or you can hire a car.

Traveling By Road

Alternatively, you can easily drive from England. There is motorway from Calais straight through to Alberville, then dual carriageway to Moutiers. Thanks to the roads built for the Olympics, you can average 80 mph until the last 20 minutes to Meribel!
Calais to Meribel is about an eight-hour drive with no stops. We expect driving to take about 12 hours from London including the Channel crossing, compared to up to 8 hours for flying allowing for check-in and luggage collection.

Check-in is from 4:00pm on the day of arrival and check out is by 10:00am. We will endeavour to make rooms ready as early as possible and we can keep your bags during the day so you can profit the most from the resort.
