An EU passport, working visa or a valid carte de sejour are essential.
Qualifications and Roles
Chef Position:
As our chef, you will need a formal cooking qualification or an impressive track record at the highest standards. You should be used to working within a budget and be passionate about producing top quality delicious food using fresh local produce when possible. You can find examples of past menus here. Beyond your culinary expertise, you’ll collaborate with the host during changeovers and contribute to the seamless guest experience. A cheerful and adaptable approach is key as you jointly welcome guests and provide exceptional service throughout their stay.
Host Role: Orchestrating Memorable Stays
Taking on the role of host, you’ll be responsible for ensuring guest well-being and overseeing the daily operations of the chalet. From cleaning and change-overs to organizing minor maintenance and shopping, your attention to detail keeps everything running smoothly. Additionally, you’ll assist the chef in meal preparation and service, fostering a harmonious teamwork environment.
Both these roles demand high working standards, motivation, conscientiousness, and excellent social skills.
